The invention provides a device and method for gravity type clamp opening degree detection, and relates to the technical field of crane detection, the device comprises a base, a transmission arm, a first gear, a second gear, a code disc, a code disc reading head and a circuit board; the first gear and the second gear are rotationally mounted on the base, the first gear is meshed with the second gear, and the transmission arm is fixedly connected with the first gear; a code disc is arranged on the second gear, the circuit board is installed on the base in a fastened mode, and the code disc reading head is installed on the circuit board and used for reading code disc data. Data of the code disc are read through the code disc reading head, the rotation angle of the clamp arm is calculated, the relative position of the clamp claw is further calculated, then the actual opening degree of the clamp is calculated according to the symmetry of the gravity type clamp, and the equipment capable of detecting the opening degree of the gravity type clamp is beneficial to improving the accuracy of the opening degree of the gravity type clamp.

    本发明提供了一种用于重力式夹钳开度检测的装置及方法,涉及起重机检测技术领域,包括底座、传动臂、第一齿轮、第二齿轮、码盘、码盘读头以及电路板;所述第一齿轮和第二齿轮二者均转动安装在底座上,且所述第一齿轮和第二齿轮啮合,所述传动臂与第一齿轮紧固连接;所述第二齿轮上设置有码盘,所述电路板紧固安装在底座上,所述码盘读头安装在电路板上,且所述码盘读头用于读取码盘数据。通过码盘读头读取码盘数据,计算出钳臂的旋转角度,进一步计算出钳爪的相对位置,再根据重力式夹钳的对称性计算出夹钳的实际开度,能够检测重力式夹钳开度的设备,有助于提高重力式夹钳开度的精准度。
