The invention provides a tailstock type fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle and a vertical flight hovering control method thereof.The tailstock type fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle comprises a vehicle body, a flight controller, wings symmetrically arranged on the two sides of the vehicle body and a propeller arranged at the tail of the vehicle body, the wings are rotatably connected with the vehicle body, and the flight controller is connected with the propeller. The wings can rotate under the control of the flight controller, so that the relative position of the pressure center point of the unmanned aerial vehicle and the gravity center of the unmanned aerial vehicle is changed. According to the technical scheme, the unmanned aerial vehicle can be controlled to perform stable hovering action during vertical flight only by changing the rotating direction of the wings.
