The invention specifically discloses an electric vehicle thermal management system operation mode automatic switching method comprising the following steps: step 1, based on a state machine in communication connection with an electric vehicle thermal management system, obtaining one or more of environment state parameters, set target parameters and electric vehicle thermal management system state parameters; step 2, based on the parameters obtained in the step 1, obtaining a model switching signal by using a preset operation mode type and a judgment switching logic in the state machine; and step 3, switching to a corresponding electric vehicle thermal management system operation mode based on the model switching signal obtained in the step 2. The technical defect of switching of multiple electric vehicle thermal management modes in the prior art can be solved, and the robustness, the stability and the function completeness of the electric vehicle thermal management system can be improved.
