The double-row-pipe parallel flow heat exchanger comprises a first heat exchange core body and a second heat exchange core body, and the first heat exchange core body comprises a first collecting pipe set and a first heat exchange pipe set; the second heat exchange core body comprises a second collecting pipe set and a second heat exchange pipe set, and the flow channel sectional areas of second heat exchange pipes and the first heat exchange pipes are different. When the heat exchanger is used as a condenser, a refrigerant enters from the heat exchange tube with a larger flow channel sectional area, and a gaseous refrigerant is liquefied, flows through the heat exchange tube with a smaller flow channel sectional area and is discharged outwards; when the evaporator is used as an evaporator, a refrigerant enters from the heat exchange tube with the small flow channel sectional area, and the liquid refrigerant enters the heat exchange tube with the large flow channel sectional area after being gasified. According to the design, the state of a refrigerant is optimally matched with the sectional area of a flow channel of the heat exchange pipe, so that the heat transfer performance of the heat exchanger is improved, meanwhile, the light weight of the heat exchanger is facilitated, and when the heat exchanger is applied to an automobile air conditioning system, the heat exchange performance and efficiency of the whole automobile air conditioning system can be improved.
