The invention relates to the technical field of elevators, in particular to an elevator host. An elevator main machine comprises a power mechanism, a supporting mechanism and a traction mechanism, the power mechanism and the traction mechanism are both connected to the supporting mechanism, and the power mechanism can drive the traction mechanism to rotate; the power mechanism comprises a power source and an output shaft, the traction mechanism comprises a driving disc, a traction wheel and a brake wheel, the supporting mechanism comprises a machine base and a front support which are connected with each other, the output shaft is supported in the machine base and extends out of one end of the machine base to be connected with one end of the driving disc, and the driving disc is supported on the front support. The other end of the driving disc is connected with one side of the traction wheel, and the traction wheel is supported on the outer side of the machine base through the driving disc and the brake wheel. The traction device has the advantages that the load and the impact load borne by the traction wheel can be shared to the supporting mechanism, the output shaft is prevented from directly bearing the load, deformation of the output shaft is reduced, and disturbance and noise in the operation process of the output shaft are reduced.
