The invention relates to a decoupling brake booster, comprising a pedal feeling simulator (1) for engaging with a brake pedal of a vehicle, a spindle (2) which can be coupled and decoupled from an input rod (11) of the pedal feeling simulator (1), a pedal travel sensor module (3) comprising a magnet (31) and a sensor (32) for detecting the travel of the magnet (31), the magnet (31) is arranged to be movable with the movement of the input rod (11), the sensor (32) is arranged to be stationary, and the magnet (31) and the sensor (32) are radially spaced apart.
