The invention relates to a control strategy for one-key switching of battery modes of an electric forklift, and belongs to the technical field of forklift battery control. Comprising the following steps that the electric forklift is powered on, and a controller communicates with a battery; the controller receives a communication protocol provided by the battery, and identifies the type of the battery by adopting a self-adaptive application layer CAN communication protocol; according to different battery types, the batteries are automatically connected with the corresponding connection circuits; and the adaptive application layer judges the battery type by identifying special or unique CAN communication data of different battery types. According to the control strategy, different types of batteries can be used on the electric forklift, the universality and compatibility of the batteries of the electric forklift and the convenience of battery replacement are improved, and the market competitiveness of the electric forklift is enhanced.
