The control method comprises the steps that the current position of a key relative to an automobile is periodically obtained, and the key position of a preset number of cycles is cached; based on the current position, determining the current functional area of the key, and calculating the radial speed of the key relative to the boundary line of the to-be-crossed functional area based on the current and past positions of the key and the periodic value; adjusting a frequency threshold value and a transition area width according to the radial speed, wherein the frequency threshold value and the transition area width are both in a reverse adjustment relationship with the radial speed; and if the number of times of the key located in a certain functional area in the preset number of cycles is larger than the number of times threshold, the functional area range is updated, and the automobile is controlled to execute the preset function of the located functional area according to the updated functional area range. According to the application, when the key moves near the junction boundary of different functional areas around the automobile, the response speed of the corresponding functional area is improved when the key rapidly moves in the relative functional area while the accuracy is ensured.
