A user interface displays the equipment status of the elevator and escalator arrangements. The state is based on an overall measurement method in which one or more indicator values are continuously measured and compared to a reference value. The difference between the measured value and the reference value is displayed in a user interface for indicating the status of the single component and the entire system.
