The seabed monitoring equipment comprises an equipment main body, a load rejection assembly, a transmitting assembly and a second battery pack, the equipment main body collects target data according to a target monitoring task by using a monitoring sensor, the load rejection assembly comprises a first battery pack for supplying power to the equipment main body, and when the equipment needs to float upwards, the load rejection assembly and the first battery pack are separated from the equipment main body. And when the first battery pack is separated from the equipment main body and the equipment floats up to a transmitting distance of the transmitting assembly, the second battery pack serves as an alternative small-capacity battery to supply power to the transmitting assembly, so that the transmitting assembly can send target data acquired by the equipment main body to a processing center for monitoring and analysis. The workboat does not need to return to a putting place to recycle the seabed monitoring equipment, the operation cost is reduced, and the monitoring safety is improved. And meanwhile, the weight of the equipment during floating is reduced, floating resistance is reduced, and the structural complexity of seabed monitoring equipment is reduced.
