Provided is a joining structure in which a first member having an anti-rust film is fastened to a second member, the joining structure being capable of suppressing peeling of the anti-rust film of the first member and improving the fastening force between the first member and the second member. The joint structure is provided with: a first member (1) in which an electrodeposition coating film (6), which is an anti-rust film, is formed on the surface of a metal base material (5); a second member (2) in contact with the first member (1); and fastening members (3, 4) that fasten the first member (1) and the second member (2). A plurality of protrusions (7) having a height smaller than the thickness of the electrodeposited coating film (6) are formed on at least a portion of the surface of the second member (2) that is in contact with the first member (1). The first member (1) and the second member (2) are fastened by fastening members (3, 4) in a state in which the electrodeposited coating film (6) of the first member (1) is engaged with the projection (7) and the base material (5) of the first member (1) is not in contact with the projection (7).
