The present invention relates to a wind power propulsion system and a ship having the same, the wind power propulsion system comprising: a stator vertically provided on a deck; a rotor disposed in a cylindrical shape so as to surround the outside of the stator; a drive unit that transmits rotational power to the rotor through a disk connected to the rotor; and a lower bearing portion provided at a lower portion of the rotor to suppress lateral movement of the rotor, the lower bearing portion including: a joint portion composed of an assembly of bearing units, at least a portion of which is provided on an inner side of the stator along an edge of a window provided at a predetermined interval from a position where the bearing units are provided, a guide bearing for guiding the rotation of the rotor is supported by the stator.
