The invention provides an intelligent traffic signal control method based on radar and video data fusion, and the method comprises the steps: calculating the vehicle density in a current detection range through detected road traffic data, and judging whether to carry out the control scheme conversion or not according to a current vehicle density critical threshold value; the road situation is divided into three conditions of smoothness, slow driving and crowding to be controlled respectively. According to the invention, a basic logic and control algorithm of single-point traffic signal control with density as a judgment index is constructed, and the traffic efficiency of intersection signal control is effectively improved.

    本发明提供一种基于雷达和视频数据融合的智能交通信号控制方法,该方法通过检测到的道路交通数据计算当前检测范围内的车辆密度,根据当前车辆密度密度临界阈值判断是否进行控制方案转变,将道路态势划分为畅通、缓行、拥挤三种情况分别进行控制。本发明构建了以密度为判断指标的单点交通信号控制的基本逻辑与控制算法,有效提升了交叉口信号控制的通行效率。
