The invention provides a travel route generation device and a travel route generation method, which can generate a travel route used for lane change with high precision by using latest division line information obtained during lane change. A travel route generation device (10) and a travel route generation method of the present invention determine whether or not dividing line information of each dividing line is valid dividing line information that can be used to generate a lane change travel route during a lane change period of a vehicle, and generate a lane change travel route on the basis of a valid determination result. A reference dividing line is selected from the dividing lines on the left side and the right side of the present lane, and a lane change travel route is generated on the basis of dividing line information of the reference dividing line.

    本发明提供一种行驶路径生成装置及行驶路径生成方法,能够利用在车道变更期间得到的最新的分割线信息,高精度地生成用于车道变更的行驶路径。本发明的行驶路径生成装置(10)及行驶路径生成方法在本车辆的车道变更期间,对于各分割线的分割线信息,判定是否是能够用于生成车道变更行驶路径的有效的分割线信息,基于有效判定结果,从本车道左侧的分割线和右侧的分割线中选择基准分割线,基于基准分割线的分割线信息,生成车道变更行驶路径。
