The invention provides an active suspension device and a vehicle with the active suspension device, which can prevent the hidden danger that the riding comfort of a person sitting in the vehicle becomes poor. An active suspension device (1) is provided with: a prediction sensor (3) that detects the height of a road surface in front of a wheel (16); and an ECU (24) that controls the stroke of the suspension and executes the anticipated control. An ECU (24) is provided with: a front wheel foreview control unit (241) that executes foreview control; a foreseen control success determination unit (242) that determines whether or not the foreseen control is successful; and a rear wheel control unit (243) that controls the stroke of the suspension of the rear wheel. The rear wheel control unit (243) executes a ceiling control and a foreseen control for controlling the stroke of the suspension on the rear wheel when the foreseen control of the front wheel is successful, and executes the ceiling control by releasing the foreseen control on the rear wheel when the foreseen control of the front wheel is failed.
