A road ultrasonic vehicle positioning and risk early warning system comprises an ultrasonic positioning and early warning all-in-one machine and an edge base station. The ultrasonic positioning and early warning all-in-one machines are arranged and installed on a road side guardrail or a stand column at intervals, and the edge base station is arranged and installed in a road side derrick case or cabinet and connected with the multiple ultrasonic positioning and early warning all-in-one machines. According to the road ultrasonic vehicle positioning and risk early warning method, a corresponding risk early warning scheme is automatically generated according to vehicle information and traffic state information, and acousto-optic early warning information is issued to guide a driver to drive safely. The method is easy to deploy and install, low in construction cost and beneficial to improvement of road traffic safety and traffic efficiency; compared with other traffic state monitoring equipment, the detection precision is high, the detection range is wide, the microscopic driving track and data of the vehicle can be obtained, and the event identification and risk prediction accuracy is high; compared with other early warning issuing equipment, the device has the advantages of automatic control, dynamic issuing of acousto-optic signals, strong warning effect and good information continuity.
