The invention discloses a method, device and system for eliminating swing of a crane and a controller. The crane comprises a hydraulic damper with adjustable hydraulic resistance, and the method comprises the steps that under the condition that the crane is in a free sliding mode, rotation working condition data of the crane are obtained; according to the rotation working condition data, the control current of the hydraulic damper is determined; and adjusting the liquid resistance of the hydraulic damper based on the control current so as to balance the swinging energy of the hoisting weight of the crane. The rotation working condition data is associated with the hydraulic resistance of the hydraulic damper with the adjustable hydraulic pressure, and the hydraulic resistance of the hydraulic damper is adjusted according to the rotation working condition data in the free sliding mode of the crane, so that the swing kinetic energy of the hoisting weight of the crane is quickly consumed, quick swing elimination is realized, the control structure is simple, and the energy consumption is reduced.
