The method includes determining a capacity of a battery of the electric vehicle at a current temperature; determining the ratio of the current working current to the capacity of the battery as the discharge rate of the battery; and according to the temperature, the discharge rate, the residual capacity of the battery and the corresponding relationship, determining working parameters of the battery under the conditions of the temperature, the discharge rate and the residual capacity, and predicting the working voltage of the battery based on the working parameters to obtain the predicted working voltage of the battery under the conditions of the temperature and the discharge rate. The working voltage of the battery is predicted according to the working parameters, so that the battery is adjusted to work according to the determined working voltage, the battery is ensured to work at normal working voltage, and the service life of the battery is prolonged.
