The invention discloses a device for adjusting buoyancy of underwater equipment. The left side and the right side of a barrel are rigidly connected with a left end cover and a right end cover correspondingly, and sealing is conducted through a sealing ring to form a pressure-resistant cabin; a first-stage piston cylinder, a second-stage piston cylinder, a third-stage piston cylinder and a fourth-stage piston cylinder are arranged in the pressure-resistant cabin, the first-stage piston cylinder is rigidly connected with the left end cover and is sealed through a sealing ring, and the fourth-stage piston cylinder is rigidly connected with the barrel piston and is sealed through a sealing ring; the first-stage piston cylinder, the second-stage piston cylinder, the third-stage piston cylinder and the fourth-stage piston cylinder can axially and relatively slide, a ball screw sliding element is rigidly connected with a barrel piston, a ball screw is axially positioned through a thrust bearing, and the end of the ball screw is rigidly connected with an output shaft of a motor and is sealed through a sealing end cover. The motor rotates to drive the ball screw to rotate, and the ball screw sliding element drives the barrel piston to move axially. The fault occurrence probability is reduced, and the reliability of the system is improved.
