The invention discloses a crane beam body hoisting rigging supporting device and a method for using the supporting device.The supporting device comprises first supporting mechanisms, second supporting mechanisms and third supporting mechanisms, the first supporting mechanisms are arranged at the four corners of a beam body and used for being attached to the side walls of the beam body to support the beam body; the second supporting mechanisms are arranged on the two sides of the first supporting mechanism; the second supporting mechanism is used for abutting against the web face of the beam body by adjusting the supporting length. The cable groove mechanism is arranged on the supporting mechanism; the cable groove mechanism is arranged on the side wall, opposite to the attaching face of the beam body, of the supporting mechanism and used for installing and limiting the position of the hoisting rope, and the hoisting rope supports the first supporting mechanism to be tightly attached to the side wall of the beam body. Compared with the prior art, the crane beam body hoisting rigging supporting device can adjust the supporting length according to the shape and specification of a beam body, stably abut against the side wall of the beam body, is high in applicability, and can improve the safety coefficient and the working efficiency of hoisting operation while avoiding beam body hoisting damage.
