The invention discloses a lane change risk assessment and personalized lane change decision-making method. The method comprises the following steps: S1, risk data perception; step S2, lane changing risk assessment based on the minimum safe distance, including risk assessment based on a vehicle in front of a current lane, risk assessment based on a vehicle behind a target lane, and risk assessment based on a vehicle in front of the target lane; s3, calculating a comprehensive lane changing risk R according to a lane changing risk assessment result obtained in the step S2; s4, calculating a personalized comprehensive lane changing risk threshold RQ according to the driving ability and driving style data of the driver; and S5, comparing the comprehensive lane changing risk R with the personalized comprehensive lane changing risk threshold RQ to realize personalized lane changing decision. According to the invention, the lane change risk assessment is more accurate, and the lane change decision can meet the driver aided driving requirements of different driving styles and different driving capabilities.
