The invention discloses a safety monitoring system for a power battery of an electric vehicle, and the system specifically comprises a first detection module which is used for continuously detecting whether a collision event occurs in the electric vehicle or not; the second detection module is used for continuously detecting the insulation resistance value of the power battery; the judgment module is used for comparing the real-time insulation resistance value, detected by the second detection module, of the power battery with a set insulation resistance threshold value and sending a prompt signal indicating that the insulation resistance value is abnormal when the real-time insulation resistance value, obtained through comparison, of the power battery is lower than the set insulation resistance threshold value; after the control module receives a collision event generation signal sent by the first detection module, the control module, the second detection module and the judgment module keep low-voltage power-on; and when the control module receives a prompt signal indicating that the insulation resistance value is abnormal sent by the judgment module, the control module judges that the power battery has a thermal runaway risk. According to the method, whether the battery thermal runaway risk exists or not is continuously detected after collision, and the safety of the battery after collision is improved.

    本发明公开了一种电动汽车动力电池的安全监测系统,具体包括:第一检测模块,用于持续检测电动汽车是否发生碰撞事件;第二检测模块,用于持续检测动力电池的绝缘电阻值;判断模块,将第二检测模块检测得到的动力电池的实时绝缘电阻值与设定绝缘电阻阈值进行比较,并在比较得到动力电池的实时绝缘电阻值低于设定绝缘电阻阈值时发送绝缘电阻值异常的提示信号;当控制模块接收到第一检测模块发送的碰撞事件发生信号后,控制模块、第二检测模块和判断模块保持低压上电;当控制模块接收到判断模块发送的绝缘电阻值异常的提示信号时,判断动力电池存在热失控风险。本发明在碰撞发生之后还持续检测是否存在电池热失控风险,提升了碰撞后电池安全性。
