The invention provides an anti-collision method and device for a vehicle, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining the ultrasonic reflection time of each ultrasonic generator in a plurality of ultrasonic generators after a preset gear of a target vehicle is started; based on the ultrasonic reflection time and the set distance of any two adjacent ultrasonic generators, the gradient of the road surface at the preset position in the advancing direction of the target vehicle is determined; when the gradient is larger than the maximum climbing angle under the preset gear, the vehicle front distance between the target vehicle and the road surface is determined based on the ultrasonic reflection time of each ultrasonic generator in the multiple ultrasonic generators; and when the vehicle front distance is smaller than the preset distance and the vehicle speed of the target vehicle is smaller than the preset vehicle speed, an emergency braking device is controlled to conduct vehicle braking. Through the method and the device, the collision condition of the vehicle in the front road condition can be accurately pre-judged, and corresponding control can be performed in time, so that collision of the vehicle is avoided.
