The method comprises the following steps: acquiring bus data, wherein a bus corresponding to the bus data passes through a stop target station; according to the bus data, obtaining the total delay time of the target station and/or the number of vehicles entering the station synchronously; and according to the total delay time of the target station and/or the number of the synchronous pull-in vehicles, whether the target station is a bottleneck station is identified. Therefore, whether the target station is an operation bottleneck or not can be evaluated and diagnosed, so that a basis is provided for transformation and treatment of urban bus stations, the satisfaction degree of bus passengers in travel is improved, and the method has the characteristics of high universality, high efficiency, accurate recognition and the like.
