The invention relates to the technical field of hoisting, in particular to an anti-rollover tool for bottom hoisting and a hoisting method. An anti-rollover tool for bottom hoisting comprises four transverse beams which are vertically connected in sequence to form a square frame, and the square frame can be hooped at the top end of a cabinet body; each transverse beam is fixedly provided with the corresponding side protection beam, and the side protection beams are attached to the side faces of the cabinet body; a limiting corner with an outward opening is formed at the intersection of every two adjacent transverse beams, and the lifting ropes pass through the limiting corners from the bottom of the cabinet body and then extend upwards to a lifting point. A limiting plate is arranged at the limiting corner and limits the upward extending angle of the lifting rope. The limiting plate is assembled in a deflection mode, the inclination angle of the limiting plate relative to the horizontal plane is adjustable, and the lifting rope is attached to the upper surface of the limiting plate and extends upwards. The technical problem that in the prior art, when an electrical cabinet body is hoisted by a hoisting device, the risk that the cabinet body turns on one side is likely to happen is solved.
