The invention discloses an auxiliary driving method and device, electronic equipment and a storage medium, and aims to accurately obtain visibility representing different weather conditions in an external environment and ensure that a vehicle can adopt a proper driving strategy, so that the reliability of automatic driving is improved. The auxiliary driving method comprises the following steps: acquiring a dark channel image of an external environment; inputting the dark channel image into an atmospheric physical scattering model to obtain an actual transmissivity corresponding to the external environment; determining actual visibility corresponding to the actual transmissivity based on a pre-stored corresponding relationship between the transmissivity and the visibility; determining a target driving strategy corresponding to an actual visibility interval where the actual visibility is located based on a pre-stored corresponding relationship between the visibility interval and the driving strategy; and driving based on the target driving strategy.

    本申请公开了一种辅助驾驶方法、装置、电子设备及存储介质,能够较为准确的获取到外部环境中表征不同天气状况的能见度,确保车辆能够采用合适的驾驶策略,从而提高了自动驾驶的可靠性。其中,辅助驾驶方法包括:获取外部环境的暗通道图像;将暗通道图像输入到大气物理散射模型,获得外部环境对应的实际透射率;基于预先存储的透射率与能见度的对应关系,确定实际透射率对应的实际能见度;基于预先存储的能见度区间与驾驶策略的对应关系,确定实际能见度所处的实际能见度区间对应的目标驾驶策略;基于目标驾驶策略进行驾驶。
