The invention discloses an inland river ship hybrid power system and an operation control method, and belongs to the technical field of ship power. The system carries out convergence and distribution overall planning on electric energy of a whole ship through a public busbar, and a system generator set can output constant power by adjusting charging or discharging power of a battery energy storage module; furthermore, the internal combustion engine of the generator set runs at constant speed and constant power in the state of minimum oil consumption of unit output power, and meanwhile, the power emitted by the generator set is fully utilized through battery charging and discharging, so that the aim of saving energy is fulfilled; meanwhile, photovoltaic and wind power clean energy is added in the system as auxiliary electric energy by utilizing the absorption and overall planning of the public busbar and the energy storage function of the battery energy storage module, so that the energy-saving effect is further expanded; and meanwhile, the system can be upgraded, and pure electric propulsion is finally achieved through diesel-electric hybrid power. The system is scientific in configuration, clear in operation control method principle, flexible and convenient in real ship arrangement, remarkable in energy-saving effect and easy to implement.
