Provided is a shake estimation system capable of estimating the shake of a building with high precision while suppressing the number of sensors. A shake estimation system (1) is provided with a plurality of vibration sensors (21) and a building shake estimation unit (23). Each vibration sensor (21) is provided in a building (2). Each vibration sensor (21) detects vibration. A building shake estimation unit (23) estimates the shake of the building (2) on the basis of the detection results of the vibration sensors (21). The plurality of vibration sensors (21) include a first vibration sensor (21a) and a second vibration sensor (21b). The first vibration sensor (21a) is provided in the first wave abdomen portion. The first wave-shaped part is the wave-shaped part in the basic vibration mode of the building (2). A second vibration sensor (21b) is provided in the second wave abdomen portion. The second wave-abdomen portion is the farthest wave-abdomen portion from the first wave-abdomen portion among the plurality of wave-abdomen portions in the high-order vibration mode of the building (2). The high-order vibration mode is a vibration mode higher than the basic vibration mode.
