The invention discloses a charging pile system based on a cloud platform, and the system comprises a photovoltaic power storage module which comprises a photovoltaic cell panel, a light storage inverter and a storage battery pack, and is used for photovoltaic power generation and power storage to form a standby resource; the monitoring camera comprises an environment camera and a temperature sensing camera and is used for acquiring a scene image and temperature sensing information of the charging pile canopy and sending the scene image and the temperature sensing information to the network control panel, the scene image comprises vehicle information, license plate information and preset range environment information, and the temperature sensing information comprises environment temperature information; and the network control board is used for controlling switching between the standby resource and the power grid resource of the power distribution network, uploading the scene image and the temperature sensing information to a cloud platform for image recognition, smoke recognition and temperature analysis, and obtaining a monitoring result. The technical problems that in the prior art, a monitoring mechanism based on electrical connection is lacked, and the direct power supply pressure of a power distribution network is large, so that a charging system lacks information overall planning capacity, and the new energy power utilization requirement cannot be met are solved.
