The invention relates to the technical field of electric vehicles, and discloses a method for replacing a battery of an electric vehicle, the method is applied to the electric vehicle, the electric vehicle comprises a to-be-replaced insufficient-power battery pack and a battery replacing mechanism, and the battery replacing mechanism comprises a locking device for fixing the battery pack and a battery replacing device for replacing the battery pack. The method comprises the steps that under the condition that the electric vehicle drives into a battery swap station, a locking device executes unlocking operation; the battery replacing device pushes the to-be-replaced power-lack battery pack out of the electric automobile; and the to-be-replaced fully-charged battery pack is packaged into the electric automobile by the battery replacing device. Therefore, the battery pack of the electric vehicle does not need to be unlocked by the battery swap station, and the battery pack can be disassembled only by executing the unlocking operation by the electric vehicle, so that the battery swap station can adapt to more vehicle types, and the battery swap utilization rate of the battery swap station is improved. The invention further discloses a device for replacing the battery of the electric automobile, the electric automobile and the battery replacing station.
