The invention provides a forklift and a control method, device and system thereof, and relates to the field of forklift operation control. The forklift portal frame is arranged on the base and comprises a pallet fork and a pallet fork adjusting mechanism configured to adjust the distance between the pallet fork and the base, and the pallet fork adjusting mechanism comprises a first support with the constant distance to the pallet fork; the stay wire encoder bracket is fixed between the first bracket and the base; the stay wire encoder comprises a first end mounted on the first bracket and a second end mounted on the stay wire encoder bracket, and is configured to output a first signal reflecting the distance from the first end to the second end; the laser distance measuring sensor is arranged on the base and is configured to output a second signal reflecting the distance from the laser distance measuring sensor to the pallet fork; the controller is configured to determine a first distance and a second distance from the pallet fork to the reference position based on the first signal and the second signal; and when the difference value between the first distance and the second distance is larger than the threshold value, at least one of alarming and controlling the forklift to stop running is executed.
