Obtaining point cloud data of the signalized intersection; processing the point cloud data to obtain vehicle track information; acquiring a traffic conflict index between the vehicles, and calculating a traffic conflict index value between any pair of front and back adjacent vehicles; the threshold value of each traffic conflict index is determined through a POT method and a PCD method, and if the proximity degree index of distance collision between two adjacent front and back vehicles is smaller than the threshold value or the strength index of the risk avoiding behavior is larger than the threshold value, it is considered that rear-end collision will occur; otherwise, it is considered that the rear-end collision does not occur.
