The invention provides a tire groove depth display method and a tire groove depth display device, which can improve visibility of an uneven wear state of a tire. The tire groove depth display method includes a ground portion extraction step, a groove depth calculation step, an image generation step, and a display step. In the land portion extraction step, land portions are extracted as a plurality of regions across a tire groove with respect to the surface of the tread portion of the tire. In the groove depth calculation step, the depth of the tire groove between the regions of the land portion is calculated. In the image generation step, an image is generated that indicates each region extracted by the land portion extraction step and information on the depth of the tire groove calculated by the groove depth calculation step. In the display step, the image generated by the image generation step is displayed.
