The rail securing system includes a first clip connectable with the retaining structure and includes a second clip connectable with the rail. The first clamp has a laterally extending first intermediate portion configured to be connectable with a retaining structure. The second clamping piece is provided with a second middle part which extends laterally, and the second middle part is configured to be connected with the track. The two clamping elements each have two webs which are mounted laterally on opposite ends of the respective middle part. A corresponding first contact piece of the two contact pieces of the first clamping piece can be connected with one contact piece of the two contact pieces of the second clamping piece on a first contact surface, and a corresponding second contact piece of the two contact pieces of the first clamping piece can be connected with the other contact piece of the two contact pieces of the second clamping piece on a second contact surface. A first plane extending through the first contact surface intersects a second plane extending through the second contact surface.
