The invention discloses an insulating pole-climbing-free self-propelled grounding device which comprises a crawler-type self-propelled chassis, a telescopic arm, a pedestal, a storage column, a rotary lifting push ring and a lifting mechanism. A plurality of storage grooves are formed in a storage column, so that a plurality of grounding rods can be arranged in the storage grooves in a sliding manner; the rotary lifting push ring is pushed by a lifting mechanism to perform lifting motion on the storage column, and the grounding rod is pushed to slide in the storage groove by means of a push block arranged on the inner ring of the rotary lifting push ring. By combining an annular switching groove, a first driving motor and an annular gear on the upper end face of a rotary lifting push ring, the position of a push block is rotationally switched, so that the push block can be switched among a plurality of storage grooves, grounding rods and electricity testing rods are conveniently pushed to slide in the storage grooves for operation, wire hanging grounding control over the multiple grounding rods can be achieved, and the working efficiency is improved. The device is suitable for wire hanging and grounding of the overhead wires at different intervals and wire hanging and grounding of the overhead wires at different heights, and is high in applicability.
