The invention discloses a foldable Mars helicopter. The foldable Mars helicopter comprises a helicopter body and a coaxial dual-rotor system, the coaxial dual-rotor system comprises a foldable rotor, a rotor folding mechanism and a rotor shaft mounted above the fuselage, the foldable rotor comprises a hub and a blade which are connected through a hinge, the hub is fixedly connected with the rotor shaft, and the rotor folding mechanism comprises a connecting rope fixedly connected with the blade and a rotating mechanism for controlling the connecting rope to be tightened and loosened; in the working state, the rotating mechanism is rotated to tighten the connecting rope, the connecting rope pulls the blades to unfold upwards, and the rotating mechanism is always kept in the tightening state to generate a traction effect on the blades; in the folding state, the rotating mechanism is rotated to loosen the connecting rope, the blades are folded downwards by means of the self weight, it can be guaranteed that the blades cannot be greatly deflected downwards due to the self weight of the blades or the variable-pitch movement of the blades after being unfolded, and therefore the stability of the helicopter in the starting process and in the variable-direction flight process is greatly improved.
