The invention discloses a hydro-pneumatic suspension multi-mode adjusting method and a crane, and relates to the technical field of heavy machinery. The system comprises a vehicle body sensor acquisition module, a man-machine interaction module, a hydro-pneumatic suspension execution module and a vehicle body control module. A user adjusts values of an approach angle and a departure angle through the man-machine interaction module, the vehicle body control module receives an approach angle instruction and a departure angle instruction of the man-machine interaction module and controls and outputs information such as suspension height and the like collected by the current vehicle body sensor collection module to the execution module so as to complete adjustment of the approach angle and the departure angle of a vehicle. The crane can achieve automatic leveling of different heights in the automatic adjusting process of the hydro-pneumatic suspension, the approach angle/departure angle of a current vehicle is displayed in real time, and lifting of the suspension is controlled by adjusting the approach angle/departure angle; and meanwhile, the problem that the automatic leveling position is single is solved, and a multi-position automatic leveling selection function is provided.
