The invention relates to an automatic lifting method of a special lifting appliance for heat treatment. The automatic lifting method comprises the following steps that a servo driving motor drives a bearing shaft to rotate, the bearing shaft drives an upper seat sleeve to rotate, an upper mounting seat is driven to move downwards in the vertical direction, the distance between the upper mounting seat and a lower mounting seat is shortened, a scissor fork assembly drives a grabbing arm to extend outwards, and the grabbing arm lifts a lifting frame; hoisting the hoisting frame into a preheating furnace for preheating; the scissor fork assembly drives a grabbing arm to retract inwards, the grabbing arm grabs the hanging scaffold, and the hanging scaffold filled with workpieces is hoisted into a preheated hoisting frame; the grabbing arm extends outwards, and the hanging frame, the hanging scaffold and the workpiece which are subjected to heat treatment are lifted to a heat preservation furnace together for heat treatment and heat preservation; the grabbing arm extends outwards, and the hanging frame, the hanging scaffold and the workpiece which are subjected to heat preservation are hoisted out of the furnace together; and the grabbing arm is retracted inwards, and the hanging scaffold and the workpiece in the hanging frame are hoisted to a storage position. The hanging scaffold and the hanging frame are integrated, the hanging tool does not need to be replaced midway, and the technological requirements of workpiece heat treatment furnace changing and heat preservation are met.
