The invention relates to a battery management system of a lithium battery, which is suitable for a battery core group of an electric vehicle, and the battery management system of the lithium battery comprises a microprocessor, a memory storing battery use information, a communication interface and a power transmission element, when the battery core group cannot normally supply power to the battery management system, the battery management system can be externally connected with an external power supply device or a diagnosis device to obtain an auxiliary power supply, and the auxiliary power supply is supplied to the microprocessor through the power transmission element to wake up the microprocessor to recover operation. Therefore, a diagnostic device connected with the communication interface can read the battery use information as a reference basis for diagnostic analysis.
