The invention belongs to the technical field of helicopter transmission, and discloses a light helicopter transmission device driven by a synchronous belt, which comprises a main speed reducer, an upper belt wheel, a tension adjusting assembly, a tail transmission shaft assembly, a tail speed reducer, a clutch assembly and a synchronous belt, engine power and rotating speed are connected with a clutch assembly, a lower belt wheel is arranged on the outer side of the clutch assembly, the lower belt wheel is connected with a synchronous belt, and after the rotating speed of the clutch assembly reaches a certain value, the lower belt wheel rotates in the clutch assembly under the action of a clutch. The other side of the synchronous belt is connected with an upper belt wheel, one axial end of the upper belt wheel is meshed with a main speed reducer to transmit motion to a main rotor wing, and the other axial end of the upper belt wheel transmits motion to a tail speed reducer through a tail transmission shaft assembly. A tensioning adjusting assembly is arranged between the end of the lower belt wheel and the end of the upper belt wheel. The synchronous belt can be in a normal tensioning working state, the influence of vibration of a piston engine on synchronous belt tensioning is greatly reduced, the rotating stability of the synchronous belt is improved, and the service life of the synchronous belt is prolonged.
