The invention discloses a load traction guider and a traction method, and relates to the technical field of load guiding. The load traction guider comprises a long-strip-shaped chain transmission box which is divided into an upper layer and a lower layer, the upper layer is provided with a T-shaped sliding groove with an upward opening, and the lower layer is provided with a closed square groove; a driving chain wheel assembly and a driven chain wheel assembly are arranged at the two ends of the chain transmission box respectively. The bottom of the guide trolley is T-shaped, the guide trolley is slidably arranged in the T-shaped sliding groove, and the top of the guide trolley is provided with a driving shaft which vertically extends outwards and can automatically slide up and down; the driving shaft is used for being connected with a load; the chain is in a closed loop shape, one part of the chain is arranged in the T-shaped sliding groove, and the other part of the chain is arranged in the square groove; after the chain bypasses the driving chain wheel assembly and the driven chain wheel assembly, two ends of the chain are respectively connected to the front and rear ends of the guide trolley. According to the load traction guider and the traction method, the movement direction of a large load is locked, up-and-down floating deviation is adapted, and left-and-right floating deviation and overturning movement deviation are eliminated.
