A method for manufacturing a three-dimensional vehicle door frame interior reinforcement element including an inner center pillar portion, an inner front pillar portion, and an inner side rail portion joining the inner center pillar portion and the inner front pillar portion includes: providing an inner blank, the inner blank comprises an inner middle column blank, an inner front column blank and an inner longitudinal beam blank, and the inner blank is roughly of a flat plate type; assembling the inner center pillar blank and the inner front pillar blank to the inner longitudinal beam blank to form a substantially flat plate type door frame inner reinforcement blank; the door frame interior reinforcement blank is hot-stamped in order to shape the three-dimensional door frame interior reinforcement element, at least a portion of the interior reinforcement portion being made of press-hardened steel having a tensile strength of greater than or equal to 1300 MPa after the hot-stamping step.
