The invention relates to the technical field of new energy vehicles, and discloses a vehicle rescue system and a vehicle rescue method.The system comprises the steps that rescue information sent by a trapped vehicle is received, and the rescue information is sent to a rescue service center; acquiring rescue vehicle information of a rescue vehicle corresponding to the rescue information; determining a target rescue vehicle according to the rescue information and the rescue vehicle information, wherein the electric quantity of a rescue battery carried by the target rescue vehicle is not less than the electric quantity of a target battery required by the trapped vehicle; and sending a rescue instruction to the target rescue vehicle, wherein the rescue instruction is used for indicating the target rescue vehicle to rescue. The rescue vehicle information of the rescue vehicle corresponding to the trapped vehicle rescue information is obtained, the target rescue vehicle is determined according to the rescue information and the rescue vehicle information, and finally the rescue instruction is sent to the target rescue vehicle to indicate the target rescue vehicle to carry out rescue. Therefore, the problem that in the prior art, quick charging rescue cannot be carried out on the electric vehicle with insufficient electric quantity is solved.
