The present invention relates to a drive axle with a built-in hub, comprising a hub housing which simultaneously acts as an outer ring of a constant velocity joint and as a wheel hub, in which the center of the vehicle-outside constant velocity joint is located within the entire length of the hub housing, and which maintains a structure in which the hub housing can be rotated regardless of whether a drive shaft 1 rotates or not. The bearing housing and the shield assembly ring portion (including the shield) do not rotate, so that performance can be improved, durability can be enhanced, and noise can be minimized.
