The obstacle detection device comprises an installation frame, the installation frame is provided with a plate spring and a bearing plate, the plate spring penetrates through the bearing plate, a travel switch is installed on the bearing plate, and a set distance exists between the travel switch and the plate spring; an adjusting mechanism is arranged on the side, away from the travel switch, of the bearing plate, a first through groove is formed in the bearing plate, a mounting base is arranged at the end, facing the bearing plate, of the travel switch, and the switch mounting base penetrates through the first through groove to be connected with the adjusting mechanism; and the adjusting mechanism drives the mounting seat to move along the first through groove so as to adjust the distance between the travel switch and the plate spring. The problems that the plate spring is poor in universality, large in manufacturing difficulty, high in cost and the like due to the fact that the plate spring structure and the manufacturing process need to be adjusted to ensure that the trigger force value is unchanged after the height change of the cross beam is detected are solved.
