The invention discloses a slide way cross beam installation method. The cross beam floats in water through the buoyancy of the air bag and is pulled along the diagonal line of the cross beam through the four anchor ropes, the anchor ropes give downward component force to the cross beam, the buoyancy of the air bag is overcome so as to drive the cross beam to move towards the water, the air bag is inflated, the buoyancy provided by the air bag is adjustable, the buoyancy provided by the air bag is properly reduced, and the cross beam can be driven to move towards the water. The resistance generated when the winch winds the anchor rope can be reduced, and the cross beam can be controlled more easily and flexibly.
