The invention discloses a wheel-leg combined type wheel with actively variable left and right contact areas, which comprises a fixed frame, a shaft rod, a grooved wheel, a plurality of foot rods and a plurality of adjusting assemblies, and a shaft hole is formed in the center of the fixed frame; the shaft rod is arranged in the shaft hole; the shaft rod comprises a first end part and a second end part which respectively extend out from two ends of the shaft hole; the grooved wheel is fixed to the first end, and a plurality of containing grooves are formed in the edge of the grooved wheel. The foot rods are hinged to the fixing frame. The adjusting assembly is arranged on the fixing frame; the other end of the adjusting assembly is in transmission connection with the second end part; when the shaft rod drives the grooved wheel to move away from the fixing frame, the adjusting assembly drives the foot rod to be folded into the containing groove for wheel type movement. When the shaft rod drives the grooved wheel to move towards the fixing frame, the adjusting assembly drives the foot rod to be unfolded so as to be separated from the containing groove for leg type movement. The wheel track is changed by adjusting the foot rods so as to quickly adapt to different terrains, and the self-adaptive capacity of the wheels to the environment is improved.
