The invention provides an off-road vehicle exhaust braking method used in an unmanned driving mode, an engine controller, a whole vehicle controller and an automatic gearbox electronic control unit are arranged in an off-road vehicle, and the method comprises the steps that the whole vehicle controller obtains the current vehicle condition, whether the current vehicle condition meets the preset condition for turning on an exhaust braking switch or not is determined, and if yes, the exhaust braking switch is turned on; when the current vehicle condition meets the condition of turning on the exhaust brake switch, the engine controller responds to a signal instruction generated by the vehicle and further determines whether the signal instruction meets a preset downshift condition, when the signal instruction meets the downshift condition, a downshift request signal is sent to the automatic gearbox electronic control unit, and the exhaust brake switch is turned on based on the downshift signal. And the automatic gearbox electric control unit conducts exhaust braking on the current vehicle. In the unmanned driving mode, exhaust braking work can be automatically started according to the driving working condition.

    本发明提出了用于无人驾驶模式下的越野车排气制动方法,其中在越野车中配置发动机控制器,整车控制器,自动变速箱电控单元,所述方法包括:整车控制器获取当前车况,确定当前车况是否满足预设的打开排气制动开关的条件,当前车况满足开启所述排气制动开关的条件时,发动机控制器响应于车辆产生的信号指令,进一步确定信号指令是否满足预设的降档条件,当信号指令满足所述降档条件时,向自动变速箱电控单元发送请求降档信号,基于降档信号,自动变速箱电控单元对当前车辆进行排气制动。本发明在无人驾驶模式下,能够根据行驶工况自动启动排气制动工作。
