The invention discloses a character segmentation mode license plate recognition method based on a convolutional neural network model, and the method comprises the steps: constructing a highway license plate image set based on a high-speed whole vehicle image under an abnormal weather condition; based on an image proportion method, license plate characters are segmented; according to the method, classification convolutional neural network models of different character sets are constructed, and an Inceptionv3-LPCR model, a ResNet50-LPCR model, a ResNeXt-LPCR model and an MNASNet-LPCR model are preferably selected to complete vehicle license plate recognition. The license plate recognition method has the beneficial effects that the characters of the license plate can be effectively segmented, the license plate image set which conforms to a real high-speed scene and is suitable for neural network learning is constructed, meanwhile, the convolutional neural network with a reasonable structure is selected to complete automatic recognition of the vehicle license plate, the license plate recognition accuracy and speed are improved, and the license plate recognition efficiency is improved. The method plays an important role in vehicle identification.

    本发明公布了基于卷积神经网络模型的字符分割模式车牌识别方法,包括:基于异常天气状况下的高速整车图像,构建高速公路车牌图像集;基于图像比例的方法,对车牌字符进行分割;构建不同字符集的分类卷积神经网络模型,优选Inceptionv3‑LPCR、ResNet50‑LPCR、ResNeXt‑LPCR和MNASNet‑LPCR模型完成车辆号牌识别。本发明的有益效果在于:能够有效对车牌的字符进行分割,构建符合真实高速场景且适用于神经网络学习的车牌图像集,同时选用结构合理的卷积神经网络,完成对车辆牌照的自动识别,提升了车牌识别的准确率与速度,对于车辆的识别有着重要的作用。
