The invention relates to an auxiliary supporting device for lossless turnover of a large plate girder and a construction method.The auxiliary supporting device comprises a base, a triangular frame, a tensioning assembly and a fixing assembly, a supporting groove matched with one corner of the triangular frame is formed in the top of the base, and one side of the triangular frame is hinged to the top of the base; when the tripod is overturned into the supporting groove, the side, away from the supporting groove, of the tripod is parallel to the bottom face of the base, the included angle of the corner, extending into the supporting groove, of the tripod is not smaller than 90 degrees, and the fixing assembly is arranged at the corner, close to the hinged side and away from the supporting groove, of the tripod. The fixing assembly is used for connecting and fixing a lower flange on one side of the large plate girder, and the tensioning assembly is arranged at the other corner, away from the supporting groove, of the triangular support and used for tensioning and fixing the middle of a web on the other side of the large plate girder. The device has the effect of preventing the large plate girder from being damaged when the large plate girder is turned over.
